Well, the short block and manual transmission are a few inches shorter in total length than the old big block and automatic transmission, so I need a new drive shaft fabricated to match. I dropped off the "original" non-stock driveshaft that came on the truck along with the two-piece shaft that came from the doner truck where I salvaged the manual transmission. Basically, they are going to cut them both up and make me one good one that is the correct length.

On an unrelated note, the new pulley set came in and they look pretty sweet. Eight groove serpentine belt for an alternator only setup!
